Artist statement:

This series is an abstraction of the human body in the natural world. The intention of my work is to remind ourselves of our connection with the world on the most basic level. We are made from the same molecules as the world that surrounds us, a fact that I believe we often times forget. I want to remind people of this truth through the blending of the human body and nature. Using photography with a DSLR I use only natural light from the outdoors to capture these abstracted, bright and colorful images.
